Pool Party on Wednesday...

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to remind everyone that there is a pool party at the McCallum's home at 6pm tomorrow evening!!! Their address is:

ATTENTION LADIES!!! In case you didn't hear the memo yesteday morning, BE MODEST!!! Please no 2 pieces, unless they cover your tummies/backs (example, some tankinis fall in this category). Also be aware that not all bathing suits (one or two pieces) are modest in the top area, so please be conscious of that. If all you have is an immodest bathing suit (according to the standards above), please bring a DARK t-shirt to wear over it.

Ladies, please understand that we are not trying to be nazis. It is very important that we are mindful of how we are dressed to help keep our brothers in Christ in check. If you fail to heed the warnings on this (can you tell I'm very serious about this??), you WILL be told to put a dark shirt on... if I get attitude, you get sent home. Comprende? Know this is said completely in love. I feel very strongly about this topic because we should glorify the Lord in everything we do and say... including what we wear. :)

Parents, please make sure you check your daughters' attire before leaving the house. I only say this because we have had issues in the past where the lines have been drawn, but students still show up in inappropriate clothing. We understand that not all people have the same standards, but please help us as we set these boundaries for the youth group. It makes for an awkward conversation when we have to confront a student due to immodest clothing. We appreciate your cooperation. :)
